Walking in the Light
Nathan Emmelhainz

Speaker Nathan Emmelhainz continued our series in The Simple Gospel with a message about where sin resides and to expose it by coming into the light. Police have more work at night. People sin in the dark, hide their dark sides, and lie to cover them. We are called to walk in the light. This means both a call to stop doing the works of darkness, but also a call to confess. One of the greatest gifts we have is the gift of restoration – we can restore people from the shadows to the light. Walking in the light, we have fellowship with God and each other. Pretending we have no darkness leaves us in the land of liars. Being people of Grace, we welcome normal, sometimes dark people, to come to the light. Come fellowship with God. Though your sins have been red as scarlet – in the light – he will make them white as snow.
