Babel, Pentecost, and Human Beings
Speaker Mike Foster continues our series in Unity with a message about what actually happened at the Tower of Babel when language and peoples were scattered by God? What actually happened at Pentecost when languages and peoples were gathered by God? How does that enable us to understand the Old Testament worldview and carry out the Church’s mission of filling the earth with God’s glory? In light of these things, what does it mean to be a human being who follows Jesus? What does it mean for unity? And, why do we always seem to want to take God’s gift and run to Babylon with it? I hope to scratch the surface of very deep things so that we can all pursue them deeply in daily life.
