“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; HE shall bruise/crush your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15
Similar wording in Gen 17:7 which Paul explains in Galatians, this refers not to Abraham’s many offspring, but one, as in Christ.

Genesis 6:8,9 Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD. Noah was a righteous man. Noah walked with God.

It just needed to be the right time. Paul writes of redemption and timing in several places. Ephesians 1:7-10

Moses wrote: Deut 18:15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— Similar phrase God said to Peter, James and John on the mountain where Moses and Elijah, long “dead” but alive, talk with Jesus. (Mark 9:4)

1 King 3:6 It says David was “a man after God’s own heart”. David went on to prophecy about Jesus
Psalm 69:8,9 I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s sons. For zeal for Your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.
John 2:17 His disciples remembered that it was written: “ZEAL FOR YOUR HOUSE WILL CONSUME ME.”
Luke 8:20,21 And it was reported to Him, “Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You.” But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.”

A kingdom coming with the coming of Jesus. A kingdom not fully realized, inaugurated eschatology.
Christmas is the beginning of the end.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:20b-23 An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”
Matthew 2:5,6 “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet (Micah 5): “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
Micah 5:2 includes “whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days”
