About Edward
Ward is our Lead Pastor and is a native of Virginia. He earned a double major in History and Religion from Hampden-Sydney College, a Masters in Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and an Executive Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Georgetown University. He has served as a pastor in Charlottesville, Virginia and Clemson, South Carolina (both college towns). As well as serving in the pastorate, Ward has served as a Research Associate at the Hudson Institute and Clemson’s Institute on Neighborhood and Community Life. Ward enjoys reading, watching period-pieces with his wife, having Nerf battles with his son and hanging out with his two lovely daughters. He loves Taylor guitars, Jui Jitsu and Lacrosse.
One verse that informs his understanding both of the Church and his role in it, is Ephesians 4:11-16.
