Anjanette Brown was born in Germany and spent the first few years of her life there. Later, she had the opportunity to live in several states, being raised in a military family; however, she considers Virginia her home. Anjanette accepted Christ as a young adult and has a call to mentor and assist young people, particularly women in crisis. Anjanette earned a B.A. from Virginia Wesleyan University and began pursuing her Master’s at the University of Virginia before moving to Ithaca. She is a mental health counselor, currently serves as the Family and Children’s Pastor at Vineyard Church of Ithaca, and leads the Women’s Ministry. Anjie has one adult son, Cory Alexander II, who is pursuing a professional baseball career. Anjie also has two school-aged children, Lala and Aiden. In her free time Anjie loves spending time with her children, and dog Cody, and traveling.
