Vineyard 2.0
Many of us at the Ithaca Vineyard have been blogging as well as using tools like Twitter and Facebook for quite a while now. This page is simply meant to be a hub to lead you to places where you can connect with others at the Vineyard, and join in the conversation.
This page is far from a finished product. We are listing here some of the places where we have been active for a while (blogs, Twitter, & Facebook) as well as some places we are hoping to become more actively involved with (Flickr, YouTube). Of course, the whole point of Social Media is that this involvement is not a one way communication. So we hope you will join in the conversation, and send us any ideas you have to help make this conversation as robust as can be! (And if you are part of the Ithaca Vineyard, totally into social media, and would love to help with this portion of our web site, please DM Bob Wilson on Twitter.)
Below are some of the places you can go to begin joining in (we'll be adding to this page over time!)
Staff Blogs
bob.wilson.blog - Random stuff from Bob Wilson, the Lead Pastor @ the Vineyard.
The Vineyard on Twitter
Below are the links to the church's Twitter account as well as some of the staff and leaders at the Ithaca Vineyard.
@ithacavineyard - The church's Twitter Account (great for getting last minute updates)
@bob__wilson - Bob Wilson, Lead Pastor
@jpc13 - James Cherian, Pastor of Spiritual Formation
@Liz_Wilson, Elizabeth Wilson, Worship Arts Pastor
@kmurray369 - Kathy Murray, Director of Pastoral Care
@mosesong - Moses Ong, Director of Operations
@billwillia1- Servant Evangelism Team Leader, Church Council Member
The Vineyard on Facebook
Rather than list everyone's Facebook page, the best way to start connecting is to simply go to the Ithaca Vineyard's Facebook page, and start looking for people to connect with.
(this page still has a lot of work to be done on it...please let us know what you would find helpful here.)
The Vineyard on Vimeo
We haven't done a lot with in house video in the past, but we've got a great team of Ithaca College students who have started working on some ideas. (& every once in a while we play around with our Flip camera & stick something up on Vimeo. Check out the Vineyard's Vimeo page here.
The Vineyard on Flickr
While we already have a photo album for the church, it isn't very interactive, and it is a bit of a pain to work with. We have just started a Flickr account for the Ithaca Vineyard and would love your thoughts.
More to come...
