We recognize that attending a church for the first time can be an intimidating process. We are a casual church and it is important to us that you feel comfortable, so please feel free to come dressed as you are! And to make your first trip to the Vineyard Church of Ithaca a little easier, here are some things you can expect when you show up:

Before things get started, you are invited to fellowship together. If you have kids through 5th grade, you can sign them in for Vineyard Kids at the Vineyard Kids Information desk.

We begin our service with a worship song followed by the message, applying Biblical truth to everyday life, and then about 25 minutes of singing, in which we express our love and thanks to God. Please feel free to participate or to simply sit back and listen.

During our times of worship, we allow individuals from the congregation an opportunity to share what they feel God has laid on their hearts. Sometimes this is a passage from Scripture, sometimes it’s something they feel God wants to say to the congregation. It can take a variety of forms. But it’s our attempt to be faithful to what Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 14:26.
