Feed My Starving Children
Trinity Lutheran Church is holding a community planning meeting for a future Feed My Starving Children event, on Thursday, March 11th, at 7:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (149 Honness Lane). Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that works with churches and communities to hand-pack meals for starving children, and ship them to more than 60 countries throughout the world. Recently, the Vineyard in Syracuse sent 200,000 meals through FMSC to Haiti! Come out if you can!

Service Opportunities!
If you are looking for a great way to serve, we are looking for some people who could help with the following:

Office - We have opportunities for several volunteers in the office to help out with bookkeeping, database entry, and filing.  If interested, contact  elizabeth.wilson@ithacavineyard.org.

Vineyard Kids - If you love working with kids, Vineyard Kids is a wonderful place to plug in. We are looking for people to work in the nursery and in the classrooms. Please contact wendy.williams@ithacavineyard.org, if interested.

Cleaning Vineyard Kids' rooms - Are you looking for an easy way to serve at the Vineyard? We are looking for a few people to help clean the children's rooms once a month. Please contact  wendy.williams@ithacavineyard.org, if interested.

We're Collecting Bibles!

Do you have extra Bibles hanging out on your bookshelf or in a box somewhere that you don't need? On March 21st we will be collecting used Bibles, study guides, hymnals, etc, and through Love Packages and The Bible League, sending them to families who may not have any.

Discovering Membership - Vineyard 101
Our next Discovering Membership - Vineyard 101 class, will be held Sunday, March 28th from 1:00pm to 3:30 in the cafe.  If you have been attending the Vineyard for the past two months, we encourage you to join us! Lunch will be provided. You can sign up online here or at the Vineyard on Sunday. Check out our website for more information about why membership matters.

Human Trafficking Seminar
On Saturday, April 10th, Steven Hamilton from the Vineyard Community Church in Maryland will join us to discuss the issue of human trafficking, and how we as a church can be involved. Steven is now on staff at the Vineyard, but formerly worked for the Department of Homeland Security.  More information to come.

Doin' The Stuff
The weekend of April 23-24, Mike Turrigiano, senior Pastor of the North Brooklyn Vineyard, will be holding a conference on prayer here at the Vineyard. This is a great opportunity to learn how to pray more effectively for people, how to pray for healing, and how to hear God's voice through prayer.

If you are interested in joining the prayer team here at the Vineyard, this is a great chance to see what praying for and with others is all about. This conference would stand in as training for joining the team!

If you would like more information or are interested in signing up for the weekend, please contact Steve Clark at steve14882@yahoo.com.
