Automated giving at the Vineyard is designed to help build faithfulness into your stewardship of what God has given to you.
We have recently updated our online giving system, switching from what we had been using to egiving.com. You can now set up an automatic bank debit online with no paper forms to fill out or download. Add added benefit is that you can make changes to your giving through this system as well.

Why Set Up an Automated Bank Debit?

An Automated Bank Debit (through your checking or savings account) is the easiest and most effective way to automate your giving.  An additional benefit of this method is that the processing fees are minimal ($.25/transaction…much cheaper than a stamp!) This method ensure that you are able to give consistently, with all but 25¢ or you giving going directly to the ministry of the Vineyard Church of Ithaca. (go to our online giving page)

This system also allows you to use your credit or debit card, however a processing fee of 1.5% to 3.5% of your gift will go directly to the credit card company. To ensure that your entire gift is going to the Vineyard, please consider using the automatic bank debit method. (go to our online giving page)

4 Benefits to Automating Your Giving

  • You are taking a step of faith – When you sign up to give automatically you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God blesses that kind of faith!
  • You make your life a little bit simpler – You don’t need to remember whether you gave this month. And if you are out of town, or on vacation, you don’t need to think about it.
  • You will be helping the church – Every person who gives through automatic giving makes our record keeping easier, and helps us to budget more effectively.
  • You can focus on worship at church – Instead of having to get out a pen and write out an envelope and check, you can focus entirely on worship.
